What is the difference between standard and Beta reports?

Reports may include standard and Beta versions, such as Sale Summary Beta and Daily Sheet Beta. A Beta label does not mean its figures can be compared without checking filters and definitions.

Reports may include standard and Beta versions, such as Sale Summary Beta and Daily Sheet Beta. A Beta label does not mean its figures can be compared without checking filters and definitions.

Steps

  1. Open Reports and identify the exact version name.

  2. Set matching dates and location in both versions if you are comparing them.

  3. Check the included columns and transaction scope.

  4. Trace a representative invoice rather than comparing only totals.

  5. Ask Support which version is recommended for the specific task if results differ.

How do I check the result?

Document the report version used when sharing results with your team.

If it does not work

Provide both report names, filters and a sample invoice when reporting a discrepancy. Do not assume one version automatically replaces the other.

Illustrated guide

  1. Daily Sheet is the standard report entry.

  2. Daily Sheet Beta is a separate entry marked Beta.

  3. Daily Revenue is another report for daily revenue or collections. Compare the same period, location and definitions before judging differences.
