Which WhatsApp connection should I use?

Choose a WhatsApp connection based on how your business number is managed. WhatsApp Web uses a linked-device session. Provider integrations use the credentials and template configuration for that provider.

Choose a WhatsApp connection based on how your business number is managed. WhatsApp Web uses a linked-device session. Provider integrations use the credentials and template configuration for that provider.

Steps

  1. Open Integration → Emails & SMS Notifications.

  2. Identify whether you need WhatsApp Web or a provider such as Twilio, Interakt, Zoko, Botat, Aisensy, PayPerWA or Aspai WPBox.

  3. For WhatsApp Web, link the phone using the QR flow. For a provider, configure that provider account and templates.

  4. Check notifications and send a test message before rollout.

How do I check the result?

Confirm which number the client sees and whether the connection remains active.

If it does not work

If you are unsure which integration is active, ask Support before switching providers. Do not assume a QR connection is the same as a WhatsApp API account.

Illustrated guide

  1. WhatsApp Integration is the configurable API connection. Use the provider instructions for its fields.

  2. WhatsApp Web is the QR/session connection from your own number.

  3. Provider cards such as Twilio, Interakt, Zoko and Botat have separate setup screens; scroll for the other providers.

  4. Open Integration, identify the active connection and troubleshoot that provider before changing templates or reconnecting.
