Choose the report according to the question you want to answer: sales recorded, money collected or client balances still due. These totals need not be identical.

Steps

  1. Open Reports.

  2. For sold services or invoices, review Sale Summary and the relevant sales detail report.

  3. For payment method breakdowns, review Payment Distributions. For daily collection, review Daily Revenue.

  4. For unpaid client balances, review Pending Payments.

  5. Use the same location, period and transaction scope before comparing totals.

  6. Trace one invoice and its payment history when investigating a difference.

How do I check the result?

For an eligible KWD 50 bill with KWD 20 paid, the bill value is 50, the payment is 20 and the remaining balance is 30. Report timing and inclusion rules still need to match.

If it does not work

Do not change bill amounts simply to force reports to match. Send Support the report names, filters and example invoice references.

Illustrated guide

  1. Search by the report name.

  2. Sale Summary is a starting point for sales analysis.

  3. Financial Summary combines sales, paid amounts and balances; check its period and grouping.

  4. Payment Distributions helps review payment methods.

  5. Use Customer reports to locate the relevant customer balance report; scroll to Pending Payments. Use the same date and location when comparing reports.
